Your First Intelligence Report

Step 1: Navigate to Companies

From your dashboard, click Companies in the sidebar. You will see the company search interface.

Step 2: Search for a Company

Type the company name in the search bar. HCI Intel has 40,000+ companies in its database. Select the company from the dropdown results.

Step 3: Generate the Report

Click Generate Report on the company page. This costs 1 credit. The analysis engine will process 219 parameters across 18 intelligence categories — this takes 15-45 seconds.

Step 4: View Your Report

Once complete, the Report Viewer opens automatically showing:

• Overall Intelligence Score (1-100) displayed on the ScoreGauge

18 Category Scores with individual breakdowns

Key Insights — AI-generated highlights and risk flags

Data Sources — Where each data point was sourced

Step 5: Take Action

Export PDF — Click the Export button for a professional document

Add to Watchlist — Monitor this company for future changes

Compare — Add another company for side-by-side analysis

Share — Generate a shareable link (recipients do not need an account)

What If My Company Is Not Found?

Contact support@hciintel.com with the company name and domain. We add new companies within 24-48 hours.
